Okay not really, but I wanted to cry after I read this book because ugh I can’t even tell you. Major downside to the books in this series is that the blurb provided is also a huge spoiler for what happened in the previous book. Still very hot and erotic, this second book really cranks up the suspense and mystery as Felicity begins to realize just how much danger she's in and just how obsessed this killer is. In fact one of them is a predator and killer who has his eyes on Felicity and will do anything to get his hands on her. Unfortunately not all of these creatures are as loving and gentle as her Alex. There she is confronted with this other world and its non human inhabitants.
We then flash (ha!) forward to 'present time' where Felicity is being whisked off to what sounds like a medieval castle/lair full of other incubi and succubi.
The book starts off with a sort of mini prologue of how Felicity met Alex. Bloody hell, that escalated quickly! Where book 1 was a sexy & erotic fantasy, this second book takes a much MUCH darker turn.
